What is Doctor’s Best Nattokinase?
Nattokinase is a fibrinolytic enzyme derived from “natto”, a traditional Japanese food. During the natto production process friendly Bacillus subtilis bacteria ferment boiled, non-GMO soybeans producing nattokinase. Doctor’s Best Nattokinase has the vitamin K removed because vitamin K assists in blood coagulation.
How does it work?
Nattokinase lowers plasma levels of proteins that affect blood flow. These actions of Nattokinase are similar to plasmin. Plasmin, present in blood, degrades many plasma proteins, including fibrin clots. The net effect of lowering these proteins is a modulation in overall circulation and blood flow. These effects have been demonstrated during randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled studies.
